Our congregation is a radically grassroots organization; the members are in charge. Congregational meetings approve the annual budget, elect the Trustees, call a minister when that position is vacant, and make other decisions that require a quorum of the whole congregation. The church of the Palouse is powered by the many gifts of time, talent, and energy of all who participate. The following is an outline of our Board-Committee structure and contact information.

Our Board of Trustees has nine members, nominated by the Nominating Committee, and elected by the congregation. Each Board member serves a three year term. Each Board member is a liaison between the Board and a portfolio of committees. The Board sets policy, while the committees implement policy. In addition to the Board and the committees, we have six staff members, each of whom is responsible to a committee.

All Board and committee meetings, except meetings of the Committee on Ministry and the Personnel Committee, are open to all friends and members.
