
Our congregation is a radically grassroots organization; the
members are in charge. Our church is powered by the many gifts of time, talent, and energy of all who participate.
Congregational meetings approve the annual budget, elect the Trustees, call a minister when that position is vacant, and make other decisions that require a quorum of the whole congregation.
Following is an outline of our Board-Committee structure and contact information:
Our Board of Trustees has nine members, nominated by the Nominating Committee, and elected by the congregation. Each Board member
serves a three year term. Each Board member is a liaison between the Board and a portfolio of committees. In addition to the Board and the committees, we have six staff members.
All Board and committee meetings, except meetings of the Committee on Ministry and the Personnel Committee, are open to all friends and
members.
If you are interested in participating in the ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse through any of our committees, or the Board of Trustees, please let the minister or the appropriate contact person know. Your fellow members and friends of the UUCP welcome your participation.
