Biological Perspective on Climate Change

The Heat Is On: Community Discussions on Climate Change

Climate Change: The Biological Perspective, with Professor J. Michael Scott

Thursday, February 8, 2007, 7:30 p.m., at the 1912 Center in Moscow, Idaho, corner of 3rd Street and Van Buren Street.
This will be the second of 5 sessions.

Coming up:

Feb. 15 Ethical Perspective on Climate Change, with a panel including philosophy professor Michael Nelson, Sister Carol Ann Wassmuth, and psychologist Jamie Nekich

March 1 Making a Difference: What Can We Do Now?
Panelists will include community leaders and representatives from City of Moscow, Sierra Club, area businesses, public utilities, and the University of Idaho, addressing current efforts

March 8 Making a Difference: We Can Do More
Panelists and participants will look at activities of other communities and next steps

The event is supported by the Social Action Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse, the Palouse Group of The Sierra Club, and the Moscow High School Environmental Club.
