Community discussion on Thursday, February 1, 2007, starting at 7:30 p.m., at the 1912 Center in Moscow, Idaho, on the science of global warming and other climate changes. Von Walden, University of Idaho Associate Professor of Geography, will tell about his research.
This will be the first of 5 sessions: Feb. 1 The Science of Climate Change; Feb. 8 Climate Change: The Biological Perspective, with Professor J. Michael Scott; Feb. 15 Ethical Perspective on Climate Change, with a panel including philosophy professor Michael Nelson, Sister Carol Ann Wassmuth, and psychologist Jamie Nekich; March 1 Current Local Efforts; March 8 Next Steps and Learning from Other Communities.
