Ren Fair May 5
The 2007 Renaissance Fair will happen Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6 at East Side Park. The main stage welcoming ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. For details about the fair in general, go to:

The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse Social Action Committee will be selling their homemade pizzas and burritos at the fair. This year proceeds from sales will go to: Backyard Harvest via the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI); Darfur relief via the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee; Alternatives to Violence on the Palouse, and Planned Parenthood International.
Among other groups fundraising at the fair one might find the Purple Paisley Quilters, the Palouse Peace Coalition, Sister Cities, Radio Free Moscow KRFP, and more. That's besides the food, crafts, games, and entertainment.
