The Social Action Committee will coordinate the UUCP Booth at Renaissance Fair on May 3 and 4. Last year's Ren Faire fundraising raised $2000 (after expenses) selling the food items people have come to expect: our UUCP's famous black bean burritos, homemade tomato and basil pizzas baked on site, a delectable chocolate cake known as "Jeanne Jacobson’s Scotch Cake", a pound cake, brownies, and organic, shade–grown hot coffee.

We need volunteers to assist with tasks, including desert baking, coffee making, help with recycling, and working a shift on the days of the faire. Look for the sign-up sheet in the church foyer or contact Mary Jo Hamilton or Ellen Thiem.
