The annual Muslim-UUCP picnic this year will be held in Klemgard County Park ten miles north of Pullman Washington at 1:30 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2008. The Muslim community is hosting, and UUCP are providing desserts. More information and a map link will be posted later.

Friday evening, August 22, 2008, UUCP will have an information table at Lentilfest in downtown Pullman.

A number of members of UUCP Social Action Committee, UUCP Communications Committee, and UUCP Outreach Committee are on the project team planning and staffing the UUCP information table. Brent Jeffters of the Communications Committee is project leader.

The UUCP Social Action Committee will meet in either the church basement or the Yellow House main floor on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Palouse Pride, the annual gay pride and pro-diversity march and festival, this year will be Saturday, August 2, 2008.

11:00 a.m. staging for the march begins in Friendship Square on Main Street in downtown Moscow, Idaho

11:30 a.m. the march begins, from Friendship Square to East City Park, which is a few blocks east of downtown on 3rd Street

12:00 Noon - 4:00 p.m. Diversity Festival in East City Park, with vendors, information booths, entertainment, raffles, and children's entertainment

6:00 p.m. Spaghetti Feed at the Pullman, Washington, Moose Lodge, corner of Paradise and Kamiaken

9:00 p.m. Doors open at Pullman Moose Lodge for TabiKat Drag Show. $5 in advance at Eclectica, $7 at the door. Shows at 10:30 p.m. and midnight
