Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse
Donation Guidelines for the UUCP Library and Book Share Shelf

Is the book about some aspect of the mission, principles, traditions, history, governance, or activities of the UUCP or UUA?  This covers a fairly broad range of topics.  But note that the church library generally does not include works of fiction (except children's or local fiction) or nonfiction books on lifestyle activities, such as cooking or gardening. We also consider other media besides books.

If yes, please put the book in the UUCP Library donation bin in the church foyer or on the donation shelf in the church library in the Yellow House.

The Library Group will decide whether to add it to the library collection, to put it on the Book Share shelves in the church basement, to donate it to charity, or to sell it at a used book shop for credit.

Please put a note with your name and contact info with your donation if you wish to be acknowledged and thanked by us in the UUCP Library Group, to be credited with a donor's bookplate, or to be consulted about the book's final fate.

If no -- if the book's contents would not fit well into the church library -- then please put the book on the Book Share shelf in the church basement.

If not sure, see "If yes" above, and the Library Group will decide.

Thank you for supporting the Library!
